Emerging Filmmakers Showcase

The Emerging Filmmaker Showcase is Eye2Eye’s commitment to uplifting the next generation of storytellers. Through mentorships, in-kind donations, cash prizes, and the chance to screen on the big stage, we connect young and emerging filmmakers with the resources and recognition they deserve.

Applications are now open for the Short Film Awards (competitive), which feature two categories designed to celebrate and support filmmakers at different stages of their creative journeys.

The Showcase is part of the Eye2Eye Film Festival, taking place June 6–8, 2025, at historic Victoria Hall in Cobourg, Ontario, just 90 minutes east of Toronto.
