Film Newcomer Showcase

This competition is open to high-school students in Kawarthas/ Northumberland. The Film Newcomer Competition is designed to celebrate and support the budding talents of young filmmakers. We believe that creativity knows no age limit, and this award aims to empower high school students to share their unique stories, perspectives, and visions through the art of filmmaking.
Films selected as Finalists will be screened and Winners will be announced.
The 2024 Film Newcomer Award has kindly been donated by Rotary Club of Cobourg.
